Default A simple "hello" from El Paso Texas

I am new to the forum and new to the Jag world, I have loved XJ body style since I was a child. The rounded headlights and the aggressive look, then you get behind the wheel of one and experience of driving one is second to none. I currently have a 2004 XJ8 with 75k. I have a pretty extensive back ground in automotive repair and diagnosis just not so much in the world of the Jaguar, owners tend to keep them close to the dealer for repairs or are widely DIY'rs. I am a sponge when it comes to Jaguars and I'll browse threads constantly for new information.

I'm a bit partial to the Xj body style myself. I think it's the Quintessential Jaguar.

I couldn't agree more, the only thing that would make my XJ better would be if it were a Vanden Plas, I love the long wheel base coupled with the luxury that comes with them. Maybe one will present itself in the near future that I can't pass up. This forum is great as well, I have been through forums for Audi and BMW as well but the wealth of knowledge in this forum is amazing, and everyone in the forum is more than helpful even after reposting a new thread on an old topic.
