Hi, I'm thinking about buying a '99 XJ8. Ad says "tranny starting to slip". I don't know the mileage. Any suggestions? If it's just a fluid change or torque converter, I'll go for it. If it means swapping the trans., I'll pass on it. I've already checked on price and availability of a used trans. and it's not worth it. Thanks for any suggestions.
