Default Southwestern Ontario guy here

Hey lads, Im about to pick up an old Jaguar XJ6 sovereign in a week. Its a 1986 black with beige interior. Stock in all form i think with the pepperpot rims.

Figured if I'm getting one i might as well join the forum and see what i can turn this old beaut into.

It will be my summer cruiser and will have hints of a VIP car. My winter driver is a subaru forester which i love. AWD in the winter is so much fun!

im hoping he wont sell it by next week when i go to check it out/buy it. Ive been digging the look of the old Jags for a while now.

Anything i should REALLY check for while looking at this thing? He's told me a lot about it but I'd rather not get it to find out "this" problem has not been addressed and now i need to spend a lot of money to fix it lol

thank you very much Jim! I'm very familiar with forums and find most very informative.

Hopefully this site will be just as helpful as I'm not not familiar at all with European cars or more vintage cars like the one I will be getting.

Cant wait to now look through the pics and see all the great vehicles you guys have!

Coming from a lot of forums I think i can spice it up here and bring the community together a bit more look forward to talking to everyone!
