Smile Greetings all. Happy to now be an S-type R 2002 Jag owner!

Hi everyone,

I'm Gordon, a 40 year old Zimbabwean now in UK - and very happy to now be an owner of one of these amazing vehicles after having admired them for a few decades.

Best regards

Gordon

Hey Gordon, as a forum virgin, of course we'll be gentle

So many friendly and helpful guys here, a really nice place to be that just happens to be full of info too.

If you have any questions or issues about using the site, ask any moderator / supermoderator or myself and we'll be happy to help.

In truth, most of the senior / veteran members will also be more than happy to help too, so don't be afraid to ask

Default Thanks!

Thanks Norri and Graham - and thanks again Jim.

Ingo, it is definitely an 02 model - and although it has an intermittent engine fault which I'm working on getting fixed (with truly amazing help and advice from JF members), it is in really good condition - even immaculate I would say...or maybe it just seems that way to me because I grew up in Africa where cars are considered brand new until their manufacture date is 20 years back and are not considered truly second-hand until held together by wire and the number-plate! :-)

The R came in with the 2002.5 model year in the UK 2003 in the US.
