Default Story of my Jag

I thought telling my story would be a good intro.

About a year ago, we hired a consultant to come work with our engineering teams for one year. when he was renting his house, the garage had a 1997 XK8 in the garage. He asked if the guy would sell it too him. The answer was "No."

A couple days later, the guy changed his mind. Neil, the consultant, showed up at work with it the next week. When I saw it, I thought "Wow!!!" (side note, I may have had more exclamation points in my thought)

I bought it a couple weeks back. My wife and I still think "Wow!!!"

Thanks for this forum. It is one of the best I have ever come across on the Internet. I read a lot of forums related to weather stations and climate. This is one of the best for information and willing experts I have ever seen!

Oh yeah, I live at 7,000 feet in Switzer Canyon, in Flagstaff, Arizona. The altitude provides unique driving conditions.

Welcome to the forum.

Good to see you.

Congratulations on the XK8.

PS, we could probably run to weather/climate in terms of real time local reporting from around the World.

Just an update. What a huge difference the altitude makes! My wife and I took the XK8 down to the Valley of the Sun this weekend. Amazing performance!

thanks for the upgrade on status!

Welcome.

I too am hack-amateur-newbie to Jaguar ownership, but this is my car for life, and I glow each time I see it
