Super V8 owner saying hi!
Hello there!
My name is Matt, I'm from Romania, Europe, and for 7 years I've been the proud owner of a '05 X350 Super V8 SWB. I've been lurking around, but recently I've decided to become an active member
I am very pleased with the car, it's the most reliable I've had, unfortunately it has now reached the age & mileage where the major things need to be changed - already did the brembo disks + front CATS dampers, now need the wishbones & am unwilling to pay 4000E + labor, because I read on this forum that you can only change the bushings for a couple of hundred, now this is the kind of valued information inwhich a forum can excel!
As for mods, I played a bit and made a makeshift intake, made 4rwhp * 8rwNm over stock, had a remap done (27hp & 21Nm at the wheels), and bought a pulley, now this is where I've stalled. Currently gathering guts to begin, hopefully I can get it on without cracking the supercharger

The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
