I thought I was over my Jag desires, but being trapped indoors because of allergies led me to drift around the web. I always look at the Jags, but the prices generally keep my desires tamped down. But when I spotted a '05 XKR convertible for only $7500, I got hooked again. In very nice shape other than a poor repair on some front bumper damage, it drove/ran great during an extended test drive. Of course, a half-hour after buying it and heading home, the damn check engine light came on. So that's why I'm here...

I'm not a Jag novice. I've owned six XJS's, a '89, 88 H&E convertible, a 86 lump, two '83s (one powered by a LT4) and a '76. But after extended battles with Lord Lucas, I finally threw in the towel. Stuff just wouldn't stay fixed....

Other vehicles are a '13 Mustang GT/CS, '07 Expedition, '89 F250 4WD, '60 Ford Galaxie convertible and a '47 Ford coupe hot rod.
