Hello everyone this is my first time posting in this forum, I own a 2003 x-type that's. Giving me trouble with either the transmission or the transfer case. The car as of now is not running, the engine works perfectly but the transmission will not engage in any gear at all, I will move the shifter up and down and it will just not work at all. A used transmission was installed and it work for about a week, then all of the suden it stop working completly to the point where no gear will work, so reading the different threads I became doubtfull about wether is the transmission or if it is the transfer case. Can any one please tell me what the simptoms of a bad transfer case are... or if the not shifting situation is indication of a bad transmission, thanks for reading and any advise will be highly appreciated. Excuse any typos but english is not my primary lenguage.
