Hi guys
Firstly I am a female! I have a 2002 jag. For like a year now an indication/error about the gear box will show up then go away. Now the car cant move! The mechanic said I need a new transmission. Crazy question... Can this be 100% the transmission?

You should add more detail about the exact error message that was displayed and what the mechanic has done to diagnose it as terminal needing a new transmission.
