I hope this is the "INTRO" site. My 1996 XJ6 VDP has 129993 miles and has been a nice ride. I've had it for 8 years. Other rides are an '03 Honda Element, and 10 motorcycles. Some even run. They range from a '67 Suzuki x6 hustler to 2 Honda MB5's a Yamaha ysr50, an 84 RZ350, '75 Norton Commando MkIII, '06 Triumph Tiger, '02 BMW 1150 RT, 82 Suzuki GS1100e, Honda CRF-X 250.
My XJ6 has been dying one part at a time, all electronic. Steering wheel adjustments don't work, light sensor, traction control and abs don't work, drivers door lock won't unlock, drivers seat doesn't return to preset positions, cigar lighters don't work, trunk lock actuator doesn't work, antenna stuck. I've started sanding it down for a repaint. Utah sun killed the clear coat.
Looking for advice on the things that aren't working. They quit one by one, not all at once.

Welcome.
ASk away in the X300 section, usually one query per thread, so we older ones can keep up.
BAd earths is the killer on the X300 when electrickery stuff plays up.

Welcome to the forum williekiote,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I know you've already found your way to the X300 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues. You'll get better responses by posting one issue per post rather than rolling them all into one.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the USA Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
