Default Windscreen Washers Not Working

Hi All

I have a 2012 XK with an issue windscreen washers not working. Headlight washers OK. Washer pump working off car but not when on car. Taken it to my local garage they have checked all they can and can not find the problem . They said it could be the body controller. Could this be corrected ? and if so where would that be, could I fix it myself?
Kind Regards

Welcome to the forums Roddy12,

Good to have you with us.

There's several simpler (and cheaper) things it could be before a BCM fault. The headlamp and windscreen washers have separate pumps within the same reservoir. This thread has a diagram of the control components:

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk-xkr-x150-33/ to the X150 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

The Central Junction Box (CJB) controls the wash/wipe system features. The CJB is an integrated unit located behind the instrument panel on the passenger side of the bulkhead. It contains fuses, relays and a number of microprocessors which control the power supply and functionality of the wash/wipe system and other vehicle systems.

This is getting well beyond 'Intro' so please take the question to X150 forum.
