Welcome to the forum mrblond4u,
I see you've already found your way to the X-Type section so no need for me to give you the link.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Please also visit the UK Region section https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-68/ for other members and events in this country.
Enjoy the X-Type and the forum.

Welcome to the forum knights19,
Please start a new thread of your own in this New Member Area - Intro a MUST section to introduce yourself and your X-Type to all the members.
The Workshop Manual is the JTIS (Jaguar Technical Information System) which can be downloaded from this link in the X-Type section:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...uctions-16261/
It's a huge electronic manual covering a range of models. If you don't want the whole thing, read through the thread you'll find options to download only the section you want.

I've moved your first post to a new Intro thread of your own so everyone sees it. Here's a link to it:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...dowski-120614/
You have two options for a repair manual:
1. JTIS (Jaguar Technical Information System) - the full factory workshop manual for all models to 2006. This can be downloaded free from the forum
2. the X-Type only - as a PDF. Members in X-Type tech forum will be able to advise how to obtain this.
