Default x-type 2002 tie rod

Hello everyone, name is Mike, Resides presently in the Caribbean where the weather is beautiful all year round if you like the heat. I purchased my x-type in 2003 in the US then shipped the car down to the Caribbean where parts have to be shipped in. Recently I needed an MAS and saw in the forum that a Mazda 3 MAS would work, and it did, so thanks for that tip. Now I need a tie rod end for the same car, my mechanic broke the nut. Do you know of any car that has a comparable tie rod end that would work in my x-type?? thanks for your response

Welcome to the forums jag30l,

I don't suggest you use this supplier as the shipping cost would be outrageous BUT it lists several compatible tie rods with each manufacturer's part number:

Jaguar OE will almost certainly be LEMFÖRDER brand.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
