Welcome to the forum Larry,
Don't know whether it makes it easier or harder that your brother-in-law now has your XJS!
The XJ40 is a great car and seems to last much better 'down under'. Several Australian and NZ members here running good examples.
Looks like you've already found the tech section but if not, follow this link XJ40 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ40 section for help, advice and information.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You may also like to visit the Australia / New Zealand Region section by following this link Australia / New Zealand - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your part of the World.
Enjoy the forum.
