Welcome to the forum Paula,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
With the EPB (Electronic Parking Brake), mechanical issues are less likely than electronic ones. It is could be a fault on the brake switch, the brake module or the brake motor. Guessing and throwing parts at a Jaguar soon gets very expensive and the best way to troubleshoot the problem is with Jaguar Diagnostics to check for fault codes which will help pinpoint the possible causes. Jaguar Dealers are NOT the only places with factory level diagnostics. Many independents and enthusiastic amateurs have Jaguar SDD ( Symptom Driven Diagnostics).
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
