Being a good new forum member I am posting to introduce myself, hello everyone.

Got a 2004 3.5 XJ8 in Radiance Red. Had heater matrix problems and after two back flushes I had it replaced. It seems to be an useless parker magnet in that no matter how empty a car park someone will always park within 3 inches of the drivers door. Had the drivers wing mirror completely knocked off when left in a car park. Recently had the plastic back and smashed on the passenger side mirror in a different car park.

Got an odd issue with the drivers door switch pack not working the passenger window which I won't say more about as I have posted about that and don't want to break forum rules. It's here if you enjoy a mystery:

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear of the car park anguish you suffer, but it's sad to agree, this behaviour is prevalent in the UK.

Part of the problem is that idiots need someone else's car to line up with and they don't give a jot in their bangers!

One of your fellow members will be on hand to advise on the door soon, I don't think I can assist, however I will peruse your link and I like your style, good choice!!
