Default XKR in New Zealand

It all started in the late '80s when I bought a 1973 Series 2 Daimler V12. Phenomenal car for long distance cruising and in those days I did a lot. Sold it some 5 years later and have been in SUV land for the last few years as you get responsible, get married and have kids.

Kids getting now getting older and I've always wanted another Jag so bought a garage find 1969 Daimler V8-250 three years ago as a hobby car. Spends much of its time in the garage though with me restoring it and so decided that an XK8/R would be good as a weekend car. Finally found one three weeks ago, a 2005 XKR coupe in white - I prefer the X100 shape over the later XKs and was pleased to get one of the last models of the series. Am more and more delighted with it every day, awesome power and eats miles effortlessly.

Have spend significant time on the modern XK forum the last few weeks getting information on my XKR and it has been an outstanding resource.

Welcome to the forum Chris,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the tech forums so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the New Zealand Region forum by following this link New Zealand - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome Chris,
I always thought the coupe looked very good in white, and your picture confirmed it.
