Default jaguar parts source?

Hi
Based in Nelson, but need to source some jaguar parts and obviously we have no local dealer

So the question is - where do you source new jag parts for older jags?

I'm after a new pinion seal and bearing for an 3.31 XJS rear end?

Any advise?

Default Rjr

RJR. Rodney jaguar rover spares. That's where I get all my bits. Pretty good service, very knowledgeable.

Also, I just came across another place that claims to have good access to genuine parts.
Beacham Jaguar in Penrose, Auckland. I have not brought any thing from them yet but they seem to know what they are talking about.

They have a VERY nice E Type in their showroom currently.

However, I was faced with a very slick salesman when I arrived... I stomped in wearing black jeans, a swannie and steelies... he was very quick to dispatch me through the front door telling me that they can supply the parts. Whats more was I was only aloud a very short look at the E Type. I can understand why they don't want a grubby grease covered hooligan in their fancy showroom (they sell new Jags too) so I hold nothing against them for that.

But there will be a difference in service that you get from these guys and say RJR.
Neither good nor bad for either, I'm indifferent.

Beacham: You will talk to a young man in a suit who has likely never pulled a jag to apart, he will certainly be able to supply you with the correct parts and book your Jag in for a service in their speciality workshop, the service will be done by skilled knowledgeable staff.

RJR: You will talk to a fella in overalls who is still currently pulling Jags apart, he will be able to supply you with the correct parts. He will also field any questions you have along the way.

Both good options :P Just to confuse matters.

Harry, not many here would know what that outfit is, but being a Tauranga boy myself I know what you mean.

You could try Jagdaim in Melbourne. Always have what I need and good advise along with good prices. Postage would not be too different to sending from Auckland to the South Island.
Doug Findlay is the contact there if you are phoning, he knows his stuff. Worth a phone call rather than ordering online, have your model/year and VIN handy when you call.
