Default Bamza s type

Hi I'm Bamza from Taipa far north nz. I run the local tip and do a bit of tc work on the side. Been trying to rescue a 2002 s type 2.5 se. Need to find the fuel pump driver module. Maybe it's integrated into the rear ecu . Any body here ever replaced one ?

Default S type jaguar fuel pump driver module

Hi I'm trying to get a 2002 s type 2.5 se back on the road. The fuel pump will only run when I earth it to the chasis. Does any one know where I can find the fuel pump driver module? I've looked in all the obvious places. Maybe it's integrated into the rear ecu . Cheers

I've merged your two threads on the same topic.

Here's the extract from the schematic showing the Fuel Pump:

S-Type is one of the few Jaguar models I haven't owned so I can't help any further with this FP.

Hi Bamza,

I don't have an S-Type but looking a the schematic for one, the fuel pump is connected to the rear electronics module which is located in the right side of the boot.
The fuel pump supply to the electronics control module is switched via R7 relay (rear power distribution box) which is supplied 12 volts through #4 fuse (5Amp) in the primary junction box (drivers side near accelerator).
You might also want to check the inertia switch hasn't been tripped out (A pillar left side).

Default Thanks guys.

Cheers guys . I replaced the rear ecu and she runs sweet. 4.5 years it's been off the road . I'll be carrying on getting her up to scratch.
