2002 Lincoln LS
Hey friends-
Just was wondering if anyone knows if the 2002 Lincoln LS was the last year that the LS was Jaguar influenced, or were all of the Lincoln LS basically S-TYPEs? Any help would be greatly appreciated in advance....cheers mates!

Who told you the LS is jaguar based? They both use the same DEW98(or96) platform, and share a few things here and there, but nothing on their engines are interchangeable despite them being variations of the Jag engines. You'll find they both share many a ford part...but that isn't unusual since they were both made by ford.
I think the Lincoln LS and S Type had some similar interior looks up until a few yrs ago when the discontinued the LS.
I like the LS with the 3.9 v8 and all the goodies. They can be had for very little money with low miles.

I have a 2001 LS as well as other vehicles.
the LS, S-type, T-bird, and now the XF all have the DEW-98 ford platform. the first and second generation LS are both equally jaguar influenced. The only thing that i know for sure is the same is the oil filter, the same motorcraft part number works in both cars.
