A lot of "First Gen" Durango owners have problems with installing a "Double Din" system in a "Single Din" space without modifications to the dash. Also, how do you install a Double Din with the vents in the way? I wanted to do an easy install with minimal modifications....After researching, I surrendered to a Single Din unit "Boss BV8962 In-Dash 7-Inch DVD/MP3/CD Widescreen Receiver with USB, SD Card, and Front Panel AUX Input". The hardest part of the install was connecting all the wires to the adapter. As shown in the thumbnails, the screen is removable and does not block the vents. I don't play my music as loud as others do (do they realize that the vibrations are tearing apart all those spot welds?) so the unit is very capable to my taste.
