How come they never made this? This is a concept car from 2000.

I dunno if you ever trade your XK for this concept but I prefer your XKs . I believe there was no fund to make this car and yet make some good profit .Still, Ford could make it as a rival to Mercedes SLK , BMW Z3

Good Question Rev.... Funny thing is the F Type concept made such an impact that they still talk about building it....
Some say this is the latest direction for the car...
This follows more in line with some of the newer Jaguar styling cues....
Rumor has it that this is actually the new "smaller / less expensive" car to be sold next to the XK. Jaguar since the Type F concept has said it planned on putting out a car to compete with the likes of the Cayman and Boxster. Since they place the XK as a direct competitor to the 911..
They also claim that they will bring back an entry car like the X Type....
But, as concepts go, only time will tell.....
