Purpose built (from stock) XJS GT-1, Super Production. Raced the car about 10 years.Started with a stock 1977 XJS, Two months of tearing the car down, gutting it and getting a custom built rear end, a T-10 gearbox with ratio's set for road racing, Two Buzzard-built engines, benching at 720 HP, the gas shocks off one of the Tullius group 44 prototypes. Hand made the wheel flares and hood. Hand made the aluminum dash and panels. Converted to hydraulic triple disc clutch and installed oil and brake coolers. Mid-Am Champion, a few runner ups and over 100 podium finishes. Was the only Jaguar racing during the period until Paul Gentilozzi campaigned a purpose built for Trans-AM in 2000. Prior to me, Tullius won 21 times in the 12,then TWR with Walkinshaw took over and won 5 Le-Mans with the turbo six cylander XJR 15.
