Default Posing under the Milky Way

Was out in Eastern Washington last night, at Gingko Petrified Forest State Park, looking at the stars and meteors and caught my car showing off under the Milky Way

Too much light pollution in my part of the World to see the stars.

Thank you for your kind words I hope to get many more similar, and better, shots like this over the summer as I make my tour of Washington's dark places.

OMG that's a beautiful photograph. Teach me: I take it you're using big aperture, very high ISO, and short shutter speed (like a sec or so)?
