I am searching for the seat modules for a 97 xk8. lja2160af/xxx. I removed the driver side to trouble shoot the pass. side. It made it work fine and they had the same part numbers.

2001 XKR seat control modules

Hello,
This is a note to Brian who ended the thread on the XKR seat modules.
As a new (used) Jag XKR owner I have just joined the forum and read the thread on the seat modules. I have a 2001 XKR and the mechanic that looks after our vehicles has determined that the passenger seat module (Part # LJE2160AB004) is the source of the problem preventing the passenger seat from re/inclining and moving forward and back (the headrest and lumbar support motors work fine)!
I followed the thread on this topic although am not entirely clear when it occurred (years ago perhaps)?
In any event, I would be very interested in seeing your photos of the inside repair you performed on the modules as I am finding it a challenge locating a replacement part.
Would you be able to send this to me?
