I am selling my 2003 XJ8 Vanden Plas - $8500 obo

I WILL PROVIDE PICS UPON REQUEST OR WHEN I GET A CHANCE (check out my "garage" for a couple)

- 115,xxx mi
- New tires in April 2013, Michelin Defender
- New Bilstein shocks within the past year
- New headliner within the last year
- NGK spark plugs within the last year
- Radiator recently flushed.
- All electronics working, no bulbs burnt out.
- Cold AC
- No oil leaks
- Interior 6.5/10 due to worn driver and passenger seats and center armrest. Quote for $300 to refurb to 8/10.
- Exterior 8/10. Looks perfect from 5 feet. Defects include small nicks around front bumper and wheels that have been touched up. Looks like a rubbed spot on the trunk due to use of brillo pad (???)

Cons: ABS/TRAC is only sometimes functional. The sensors and module are fine, but I have had to do some work myself (new sensors, new link lead) and I did not solder the lead. Splicing the lead has led to corrosion and a new lead is required. See my post history for more details there. I just haven't worried about it due to the great climate in TN!

This is currently my daily driver and is mostly seeing highway miles. It has given me no major issues in the last 1.5 years of ownership and I have returned the favor with regular oil changes using Castrol GTX and refueling with premium 100% gasoline. I baby the car and keep it clean...my girlfriend is kinda jealous of the time I put into it.

I just got a raise and am looking to enhance my garage with a Lotus Esprit and a Subaru Forester as my daily driver.

 

Please note that I am willing to deal. I am desperately trying to free up space in the garage. $8000 may be a long shot and I understand that. All offers are considered.
