FS: 2001 XJ8L, lots of new parts, excellent shape
I've gotta let the Jag go..
I'm finding myself in desperate need of something with more room (5-7 passenger), so the XJ8L is for sale. Asking $7000 OBO, 114K miles, runs like a top.
Pros:
No significant dents or scratches
No interior rips, tears, or stains
NEW timing chains and tensioners (along with one valve and one piston)
NEW water pump
NEW rear shocks
NEW Michelin tires all around
NEW rear wheel bearings
Cons:
Might need new front shocks in the next year or so
ABS/Traction control fault
Security & Locking module may be fried (neither key fob works, just get a long beep)
Some cracking on the top of the center console, wear on driver's seat and bolster
Aside from that, everything is in great shape and working as it should. This car has been used since October as a specialty limousine (mainly wedding and corporate work), and has been driven VERY gently. It's not beat up or ragged out.. it brings a premium charter price, and must be in great shape to do so.
iPad not included..
The rear vents will snap right back in. No permanent changes were made when I mounted the iPad.
Shoot me a message if interested!
