anyone know where to get a rear set of door rubbers 92 xj40/sov ? must be oem and jag now says "no longer available" bummer as the replacement is bad for the rears ,fronts are good but the rears will never go on .
does anyone have a solid source? thanx

 

Not sure if the seal from a 1993 xj6 would fit, I'm almost certain it would. I'm parting out a '93

what will you take for the rears? are they good quality ,no tears rips etc.

as long as its NOT an "L" model as the rears WILL be bigger .
I did check and shows to be a match w/my 92 sovereign,sure hope yours are nice

Looks like they are going to work out for you. Mine isn't the long version and I just took pictures (upload pending) and there aren't any tears or rips in them.

looks like the passenger side has some tears and damage but would you try to shoot a shot of the top of the drivers side ? still havea a good working radio? mine bit the dust last month.
does yours have the power antenna and if you recall did the radio come on ONLY AFTER the antenna was all the way up and then the sound came but ONLY after antenna was in up position ?
my radio has a red beeping lite [security] but no power output .

also, do you have the small piece of trim that runs across the trunk at the top between the tail lites[approx. 4 ft. long ?
goes under the trunk lock area and runs across? if you can take a pic I'll show you what piece it is . thanx again

ok ,see the trunk finisher [their description,not mine] that runs across the rear from tail lite to tail lite at the top of the trunk lip ,under the lock plate? sure would like to find it .
some thief got mine . thanx
