Condition: like new; I made a duplicate and used that every since I got this disc new in a package when I purchased the car from the jaguar dealer. Its pristine, I think I had it in the car for a day or two, just to get the firmware updated and made sure it worked, then made my 'backup' for use every day afterward.

Works in the older XK8/Rs, as well as XJ8s that have the Alpine system.

Disc says 2003 Made in Great Britain.

Why? I've finally given up on my factory nav, in fact, I was only using this for the jag clock, but I've just decided to leave the screen blank when I don't want my aftermarket navigation screen or the head unit video out on it. The clock was a pain in the butt anyway, twice each year I had to hook up the old OEM deck just so the system would let me activate the nav settings so I could update the daylight savings time....otherwise my clock would not even be accurate.

My unit was acting up anyhow, giving me disc errors, due to the drive system failure just didn't seem worth it to get my clock back up and running.

So, the price is $150 and that gets it shipped to you in the US. Canada will be a little more if it must go farther north. I take check, money order and paypal. The check will have to clear and wait another 3 days following that. Paypal will cost you another $5 on top of the selling+shipping price.

If anyone wants my old head unit, amplifer, or CD changer, let me know what you'll give me for 'em.

hey pdog, I'm not sure, the XJ and XK shared many components including the stereo and nav systems over many years. Here is my unit, should be pretty obvious if it is the same type. PM me if you want it.

 

hey thanks for posting the pics...it definitely won't fit :-) i forgot the nav on yours is a seperate screen on the XJ's the nav screen was the same screen as the LCD used on the radio head unit...thanks again for posting the pics...
