I am starting to think that I may need to sell my 2007 X-Type and wanted to see if anyone had any helpful advice. No increase in salary, but all expenses keep going up...especially the kid's college expense.

The X-Type is in Jaguar Racing Green with pretty much all of the options that were available for the 2007 including 18" Aruba, NAV, heated seats, etc. She's in very good shape, not mint though...has a little bit of clearcoat peeling on the front bumper. I bought it in 2010 with 36K miles; now has 41.6K miles. Also, she's a Jaguar Select that is good until January 2013.

Any helpful thoughts on the best way to sell her should I need to go that route?

The best test: 9/54 sold on feebay but none over 7k and most bottom end in the 4k range.

Usually Jags sell at trade in values over the counter with a grand or 2 more at a dealer.

Good luck and you may consider painting the bummer or take a $2k hit-a good investment.

 

That's the biggest concern for me...the peeling.

I may have to consider getting that taken care of.
