Default Wanted:folding rear seats for an 03 STR

I'm looking for the mechanicals to convert my 03 STR from stationary to folding rear seats. Latches, releases and such.

Your seats already fold down. The issue is that here is a large cross brace in the STRs that won't allow you to use it for anything. Look in the trunk behind the carpet for the release pulls.

I'll look when I get home. I caught myself searching under the parcel shelf but I did not pull back the carpet. Thanks!

Well you are correct on both counts. I was truly hoping you were wrong about the "x" brace though. Dang it. I need to get oversized items time and again and hate driving all the way home to get the truck. Thanks for your help! BTW, I feel like an idiot for not searching the trunk more thoroughly....

Ya it sucks, but it is what gives the STR the rigidity that it has. I didn't know they were back their either until I read a post from someone else. The nice thing is that you can put the back seats down and something on top of them and it saves the leather!
