X-Type Manual Trans Sheet metal plate
Clamped between the engine and manual transmission is a sheet metal plate. Variously called a torque plate, engine cover, heat shield, dust shield, spacer, it is positioned behind the flywheel and has holes to match engine-transmission bolt locations. Some say throw it away, others say it's required for proper alignment. If you have one available, reply or send a PM (better).
Also looking for the bolts/studs that secure the shift cable bracket to the trans support.
