Spun a bearing on my '01 XJ8. found a crank on ebay and it mikes to the 10th on the original crank. Question is, if you or anyone knows, are the numbers stamped on the sides of the conn rods/caps important to sizing or they just casting numbers. I found one on ebay w/bearings but the # are different. OR I could buy one from you if # are same or don't matter. ALSO.....looks like the piston can b removed from the bottom after all the crap is removed. Can it or is it head remove time?

Give me an old 350 and I could build it blindfolded. These things are a pain in the a..!

 

I think after shipping etc you would be better having yours reground- Not sure about the markings- throw a post on the XJ8 forum and I'll wager you will get a response tho!
