Why do you think they are warped? This doesn't happen during storage.

I would question the rotors being warped, that shouldnt happen with sitting.

It may be a different issue all together and probably worth having looked at.

If you do end up needing rotors there are several out there for the STR but the guys at Brake Performance have some pretty good deals on the dimpled slotted rotors

I am going to guess it is this: stored outside, rust develops on the disc, except the portion where the pads are located. Gentle brakers will feel a pulsation in the pedal when the car is driven as the pads pass over rusty, then clean spots on the disc. It will be this way until the rust is worn off.

So, do the discs look rusty?
How about some sporty driving.
Do you feel a pulsation in the pedal now?

Then you just need to drive it and do some agressive braking to get the surface rust off. If that doesn't appeal to you, take it to a corner garage have them use a rotary sanding disk. This is a very common repair that they do to remove accumulated brake pad material that causes the thumping and steering wheel shake.

Do NOT have them 'turned' on a machine!
