Whoever owned the car previously didn’t do it many favours. Transmission line slipped off and leaked out at least a litre or 2 of fluid. Does anyone know if this fluid is going to work? ZF auto transmission

We did have a very elaborate discussion about that....:

Only 3 options:
Lifeguard 6 (in line with spec m-1375.4) has KV40 = 26.8 / KV100 = 5.6

Mercon SP
Shell Spirax S4 ATF MSP

Here is that discussion:

I used Lifeguard 6. I did a full fluid change. I bought 20L. When buying 20L, it comes cheaper PER LITER...

PS: I bought mine here (I am in Australia, hence, this is AU$) - I don't know, where you are and what kind of $50 you pay for 1 liter of Lifeguard 6:

And just in case this link does not work for you: This is from MJPRODUCTS: 20L Lifeguard 6 for AU$530 incl. GST., plus postage

Yea actually might be worth it to drive across the border since Niagara basil ford has it in stock. I’m in Toronto so would be about 1.5 hour drive however those border guards usually waste about an hour or 2 of my time just tweakin. Thinking of trying some off brand stuff but don’t really want to risk it. Probably going to make the drive since only the Jaguar dealer has it and they want a small fortune for that lifeguard 6 stuff. They also said they carry Mobil 320 which is cheaper and tell me it’s compatible. Only looking to go with the real McCoy stuff though

Going to order the lifeguard 6 from Amazon. 6 litres for $190. How many litres does it hold I know it’s lost a few litres but should I just flush and replace all of it?

I would recommend a full flush (see detail in my link above). It takes quite a few liters (details in my link above).
