05 S-Type 30 amp fuse tower
Does anyone know what a 30 amp fuse tower is, what it looks like, and where it's located on my 2005 S-Type?
In 2020 I replaced the fuel pump but the car still wouldn't start. An authorized jaguar repair shop fixed the car with a '30 amp fuse tower.' It cost $16.67 for the part and $233.98 labor. Plus the cost to tow the car. It's acting exactly the same way so I thought I'd replace this part before another tow bill and high repair cost.
I have the service manual and there's no mention of a 30 amp fuse tower. Internet searches don't provide any help.
Thanks

"ck car no power to fuel pump ck relay no power ck and trace problem to bad fuse replace power back on and car running advise cust" Line item "30 AMP FUSE TOWER"
I'm going to move forward with it's just a fuse and see where that takes me.
Thank you very much!
Thank you... this helps a lot! I'll look on the fuse diagram for the one that powers the fuel pump. Bet it's one of these 'tower' type fuses.
I just got around to looking at the Jag. I have a second, more dependable, car. I found the 30 amp 'tower' fuse for the fuel pump and that is the one the repair place replaced. It's the only new tower fuse in all three fuse boxes. Nothing wrong with that fuse so I looked at every tower fuse in the car. All good. Out of curiosity I tried to start the car. It fired right up! I don't know how but the car healed itself probably with a little help from above.
Thank you guys!
