Default 06 STR full magnaflow system

I finally got my car back earlier today from a local shop that I found, they did a very clean install of a full manifold back exhaust for me on my STR. I snapped a few photos, they might be a bit blurry (used my phone). If any one is intrested they have a way to reproduce this same set up with out the car in the shop. check out their site if u want to: Nameless Performance Inc.

Beautiful! Is that an X-Pipe muffler in the driveshaft tunnel? Are you experiencing any drone in the cabin?

Looks like they did a very clean install. Needs some sound clips ! Also, how much did the shop charge total (parts & labor)?

Very nice work! Exactly what did you change out and how were their pricing for it? looks like they are in need of STR's for experimental purposes, not bad at all, good find bro!

So you're not using an x-pipe and using a dual inlet/out center resonator? Are there resonators prior to rear axle? Looks cool and def. need sound clips. How's performance, especially with hi-flo cats? Pretty quick throttle response eh?

What he paid is not terribly relevant as we did the design on his car for prototyping and preproduction purposes.

We'll have pricing and details on the website shortly. There is indeed an X pipe in this design, it's the perf tubing inside the center resonator - it's an X pipe muffler. The catalytic converters are a 200 cell high flow design. All of this is bolt up and factory fit. There is a slip fit between the downpipe and the catback, identical to the factory design, which allows you to buy the front or back half or both and be completely compatible with the other factory parts. All connections after the slip fit are done with stainless latch over v-band assemblies featuring an internal slip fit for perfect exhaust seal.

Sivkov's car had a little bit of a stumble when it came in, we suspected a faulty TPS, but I do have video of the car idling and a few throttle blips that I can post shortly. I have also got a wide variety of photos of the exhaust on and off the car. Hoping to have these released for sale in the next few weeks. Still need to get the rear tubes and the downpipes mandrel bent (Sivkov's prototype is all mandrel bent, but fully welded assembly instead of the final production design which will lack a lot of the welds at the tangent points of the bends, etc.)

I'll post some more up later today after I get the photos and videos off of our cameras.

Jason can u list a brakedown of the part#'s or model #'s of the parts used for this build. bfsgross the way the system is set up is: I have the high flow 200 cell cats up front, the 2-in, 2-out center section muffler/resonator, to the mufflers on the rear of the axle, nothing in between just before the axle. The car has some what of a drone inside cabin. I have only driven it last night and don't have enough miles put on the car with this exhaust system to know if its a good/bad thing. For those that want to know my cost, it probably is not a good idea to list out in the open since my car was the first of its kind at this particular shop. And they plan to sell it online, I don't want to ruin it for nameless either.

They went with 2.5 inch all the way back. The tips they used is their own in house design, I like them very much. Don't have a pic of them, will take one and post it up soon.

Very nice my man! The drone noise is a given whenever you do a complete exhaust mod, unless you get it with the glass pack to lower it down.

sivkov-y, the interior drone won't go away. You'll need a pair 14" to 18" (depending on your taste for noise) flow-through resonators before the axle. I have a similar setup as yours but now run a pair of 14" Flowmaster flow-through mufflers prior to the rear axle. This lowered the drone significantly. However, though she both sounds and behaves meanly, I'm replacing them with a pair of 18" resonators due to too much interior/exterior growl...There comes a time when the stereo music and peace must prevail.

Maybe, car has no problem engine code wise. When car is first started cold, it idled over 1k rpm. Rpm's gradually come down, that is when I can hear the engine kind of studder a bit. After car is at operating temp, its all normal.

If that's all, it may be OK. I'd read fuel trims when warmed up, at idle and 2500rpm (in P), to check.

(Absence of codes is good but not proof all is OK.)

Good points jagv8. Check for vaccume leak(s). Did you use new O2 sensors?
