Default 06 STR SRS airbag reset info needed

Hi to all. I have an 06 Jaguar STR that I rebuilt. When i got the car my driver side air bag was blown and the 3 back seat belts were blown. I have replaced all of the blown components and need to know how to go about killing the air bag light which is still on. I have a Launch diagun X431, which is able to lift codes and limited reset on SRS systems. I called my local jaguar dealer (Monte Shelton Jaguar of Portland OR) they are not being friendly and don't want to touch a totaled car. I need to know how to get this light out. Any help would be appreciated. I did a search through the forum with not much useful info coming up.

I pulled the srs module thinking it was a TRW module, because I know a person locally that car re-flash or do a hard reset on the TRW modules. Mine is a Autoliv, I will see later today if he can do anything about this module.

Send the module to myairbags.com They will clear it for 50 bucks with one day turnaround. They also repair the belts & buckles at $70 each. Did you replace the drivers buckle? Just curious but were your rear belts buckled at the time of the accident?

The rear belts were not buckled, but the pretensioner still went off. I replaced all of the 3 belts in the back.

Hi -- I have an '07 S-Type. No airbags were released, but a bumper to bumper hit caused light to go on. Same advice to reset: send module to my airbags? Thanks, Katz

Get dealer to read and tell you the actual numbers of all codes and modules they were in, in case a connector etc is damaged/loose, and clear them. If they come back, go from there.

Or buy a dealer-type tool such as AutoEnginuity ($450-ish).
