yep.....Slooooowww. why the hell did you get rid of the 350?

 

Very slow...one of the reason i tore mine all to hell and rebuilt it the way it should have been built!

 

A 3.0 liter, 235 hp, 216 lb. ft. torque V6, with 0-60 capability of 7.5 seconds and a governed top end of 121 mph.

 

Dang - what's holding it back, the all wheel drive?

 

it had just under 100k, i sell all my cars then.

im guessing high 16's.with a 7.5 60ft.

Take it to the track and find out.
A Jag S Type pulling up to the line will raise some
eyebrows I am sure! I've never see any Jag at the track!

Max top speed of 121 isn't the problem. (121 in the 1/4 is great for
a street car!) Engine has no torque!

 

Bingo, engine loses all it's torque. if you keep it in the red zone you might be able to squeeze high 15's, @ 90. Don't embarrass yourself at the track. lol.
Car is a "look at me" not a racer. Want to race and have torque, buy a G8[sm=badbadbad.gif]

 

The G8 GT. Yeah, I might get out of bed for that, but it is still FWD.
Nice to see GM can make and engine with more torque than my
21 year old Buick had stockand put it in a car that is under $50k! Too bad
they needed 2 extra cylinders to do it than my V6!

 

lol, the car is amazing, 6 liters of independent rear wheel drive! Squeals them tires all the way to 60 mph. i had the pleasure of pulling long side a an r type few months back...he had it all, exhaust, lowered....ect.....just didn't have it where it counted....the engine! lol.....

Hummm, the G8 is RWD?Nice!

Have to say I am OK with the Jag 3.0L.
Nice to know it still has something left
if you step on it @ 70MPH. Not a muscle
engine by any means but alsonice to know it
can get out of it's own way when needed!
