2000 s type 3.0
guys i got myself into a serious problem. i was driving my s type the other day and it just stalled out and when i tryied to start it back it just wouldnt crank over like the batt was dead. so i started with the starter and had it tested and the nose cone bearing was bad so i replaced the starter. it still wont crank over its like the battery was dead so i charged the battery overnite. it still wont crank so i looked into the lead wire to the starter and its not corroded or any thing. and now it goes crazy when i try to start it, lights flashing all over and random relays clicking away the alarm went off and just total crazyiness. can anybody please help. the closest jag dealer is an hour away from where i live and they want 120 an hour to look at it
Sounds like the battery has died. You've probably got a bit of charge in but not enough to keep the voltage up consistently for the computer modules.
But do also check very carefully for damp (or even water) in the trunk (remove spare).

thanks for your repily, i have tryied 2 different fully charged battires and thats not the problem, i have some kind of bad electrical issue. i hope it is something simple and i am hopeing someone else has had this problem before thats why i posted on here. so if anyone can help me or send me to someone that can help. i live in central kentucky (lexington). the wierdest thing is in my owners manual it showes me what all the fuses are but it doesnt show anything about the relays except that they are there but not what they go to
