Default 2000 s-type headlight question

Hi guys...I have read Brutals thread about fixing the drooping issue however my headlights have a lot more play than described and seen in the video on YouTube....mine just don't droop they completely move...is there something else that can break in these? I have the car about 6 months...never owned a jag b4 kinda clueless when it comes to these....thanks

There are 3 joints altogether, the most common one to fail is the one against the screw fix point. The more joints fail, the bigger the problem.

Are there fixes for the other joints...rather than buying new assemblies?

Yes, search Jaguar headlight adjuster kit on EBay. Both sides run about $100 - a DIY item.

Search the forum for info.

Yes, they can be too broken for the Brutal fix to have much effect. The next step is dis-assembly and renewal of the broken bits:
