I was driving today and my car started to make a very loud clanging noise in the engine compartment, whenever i came to a stop or slowed down my oil pressure/oil level light would come on. I checked my oil levels and they are perfect and a friend told me i might have low oil pressure, what should i do?

 

You do not mention the number of kilometres/miles on the vehicle.

Have the secondary timing chain tensioners been replaced with the third generation parts?

Remove the camshaft covers and see if the camshafts are correctly timed per the instructions in the JTIS Workshop Manual.

 

Sounds like the end. Probably get another car.
