Jumped several times. Client is 90 years old, barely moves the car. Her house keeper drives for her when absolutely necessary. I told them the battery was toast in 2010, under load it dropped to 8 volts. You try telling a 100 year old woman what is wrong with her car... Anyway, it is more than likely due to under use. The module never has to do any work. 14 year old car with 40,000 miles on it.

hi I have a 2001/2 s type v6 3 litre, having trouble with it cutting out when hot,(1)when idling when stop at traffice light, will start straight away and run well till you stop again. (2) and it cut out when it is driving down the road, just stop the car and start it again, no info come up on the dash.

Someone should probably move this to another thread, but just so you know, the modulated fuel pump system on these vehicles is incredibly complex, and not something a person can figure out without special diagnostic equipment. Do you have a nearby Jaguar Independent mechanic?
