I have a wrecked 2003 3.0l S-type wrecked in front and a 2005 3.0l s type wrecked in rear. Will the 2005 sub frame, engine, trans fit in the 2003. What I really need to know if the all the plugs, connection from the 2003 trans are the same as the 2005? Thanks

 

Better worry more about the computers. Check VIN of the 2005 - after the change to more CAN and diff PCM? There's a fair chance it won't work electronically and no amount of reflashing will solve it.

 

I was going to use the 2003 pcm I need to know if the engine compartment wiring for the 2003 the same for the 2005 trans connections and the engine connections. So can I just unplug the trans and engine from the 2005 and just plug everything back into the 2003.

 

It won't work if what I referred to applies.

 

Thanks. Guess I'l try to fix both of them now. So a 2000-2004 3.0L engine and trans will work with the 2003?
