Some more info will help, is it a 4.2 or a 3.0, are there any codes stored, what happens with the PATS light (the red light in the middle of the dash) when you turn the ignition on? Does anything else happen when you try and start the car?
They both are 3.0 we pick the car hop Monday so will let you know by Wed if not before. Thank you
If the remote isn't working, it shouldn't affect the car from starting. Most of the time they are just corroded inside and you can try to clean them to see if they come back to life.
As for the non-start, could be many things.
+1 smahoneyinc3 - Is the PATS light on top of the dash blinking? does it even crank?
Any faults/warning messages on dash while trying to crank?
