Default 2003 S-Type - Likely Location Of Headlight Wire Break

No power to driver's side low beam headlight. Tested all fuses. All have power. Wire to this headlight which appears to be the problem is brown with white line. Using a jump wire from passenger side low beam headlight, driver's side headlight works, and I can turn lights on/off at stick on steering column The break in the wire for the driver's side low beam seems to be somewhere between where the driver's side low beam bulb plugs in back to and through the firewall into the dashboard.

Any experience with this very specific problem and likely location of problem would be appreciated.

Check JTIS etc for routing of harness. If behind front bumper then remove that and check loom carefully.

break is not in that bundle behind front bumper. It is somewhere from the driver's side headlight back toward the passenger compartment or under dashboard.

Up in the wheel arch(es) then? Access by removing the liners if you wish to see.

You can of course disconnect the bad wire(s) and run your own.

When one wire goes bad others may follow as it tends to be a chafing harness.

Six Rotors - I am like you. Loved my rotory rocket and drove it to death. Went to Lexus and than to Jaguar. If they would bring back the '85 GSL-SE body style, I would buy another one.
