Default 2003n s type fuel pump

I recently swapped fuel pump, all relays and fuses have been checked. now when I try and start car...nothing. I don't hear the fuel pump kick on to prime system. was told that the ecu needed to be reprogrammed to recognize new fuel pump. HELP!

No reprogramming needed.

If it doesn't run at all you're looking at fuse, relay, wiring, connector, cut off, etc. Start with the circuit diagram & workshop manual if you want to DIY.

Forget doing any diagnosing with a less than great battery. Just asking for false problems all due to it.
