I just purchased a 2004 S-Type. The right side turn/side marker do not work due to a broken wiring harness at the left fog light assembly. The back of the fog light assembly is broken as well. I need some advice for repair.

I can purchase the fog light assembly here for $99.18. I can find some spare wire to splice this with and wire wrap to protect it. I think the wires are color-coded and I should be able to tell what goes where.

The problem is the connector that goes on the end of the fog lamp assembly is MIA. I could not find the part online.

1) Does my method of repair sound like I am going in the right direction (are the wires color-coded)?
2) Does anyone know where I might find the connector that is wired to the harness at this point (socket that the bulb plugs in to)?

I have included some pics showing the left side (damaged) and the right side (intact).

You might get one from a wreck. Or, the electrical guide (part of JTIS which you can google) should confirm which pin is which (though they're likely the same left & right). (Mine's an R, so is likely different.)
