2004 str ... epb fault, cruise not available and restricted performance
Subscribeonly code i get is p1333 can anyone point me in the direction as to what could be the cause?

It seems that anytime you get multiple, seemingly unrelated codes on these cars, best place to start troubleshooting is your battery. Lots of info on the Forum about battery health; click the link in my signature.

had battery tested results were good battery but maybe it's the battery it's a 1 year old
superstart premium from o'reilly's auto parts .... also I noticed when the car is off the brake light is very dimly lit

Maybe a drain that's affecting the battery in which case look for a drain...

Likely your battery. Put in on a charger for a few hours, and try it again... if it helps, you're going to have to replace the battery, or search for the drain...

This is a red flag. No lights should be lit when car is off. Sounds like a short somewhere in your brake light wiring but I'm no wiring or electrical expert. Obviously, given enough time, this would drain a battery to the point where the car starts throwing random codes I'd think. Originally Posted by jsmooth226
