1. Cylinder arrangement... I found a diagram online that shows the cylinder numbers for up-to and after 2002.5 MY. This shows the cylinder numbers starting at the front, alternating from left to right (when looking at the front of the engine) with one the front-most left, two being the front-most right, three being behind one, and so on. I wanted to confirm this is correct, as I'm going to be replacing the coil packs for cylinders 4 and 5 to remedy a misfire.
2. CATS suspension. The shocks are feeling a little tired, and I'm planning on relocating, so before I move I'd like to replace them if I decide to keep the car and bring it with me - it'll be my only vehicle at that point. Problem is, difficulty finding the CATS dampers, and when I do they're outrageously expensive. I have found the dampers for comfort and sport variants of the standard suspension, available and reasonably priced. Is switching to non-electronic dampers a possibility, and if so, am I staring down the barrel of a christmas tree of warning lights? So far as I can tell, it should physically possible as the mounting points seem to be the same across all models, only thing that really sticks out to me is my uncertainty about the computer freaking out, not being able to communicate with the standard shocks/struts.
3. Those with over 150k miles on their S-Type Rs, how have they help up long-term? I've seen a couple examples with over 200k miles on them that seem to be staying together pretty well. I'm around 100k now, and wanted to get an idea of what kind of hassle it may be.
